IN-LINE SAMPLE VALVE

Meeker introduces two version of in line sample valves.  Valves are available in the vertical position or horizontal position.  The valve features a safe way to allow operators to take a sample of liquid AC (bitumen) in line to the plant.   Today many state DOT agencies now want samples to be taken in line as compared to at the tank.

The Meeker in-line sample valve allows the operator to place his sample container in a protected box.  The box has an easy to view window which allows an operator clear view of the sample being filled.  When the container is in place and the door is closed and locked shut, the operator moves the valve handle and a small sample from the line is streamed into the container.

When the sample is complete, the operator moves the valve back to the closed position and the door can then be opened and sample removed.

We also offer an OPTIONAL spring loaded valve arm so that if an operator's arm is not in full contact with the valve arm, the valve arm will swing back to the closed position
