Many times hot oil circulation problems are a result of sludge and carbon build up in your hot oil pipes.  Over the years, hot oil breaks down.   When it breaks down, it gets thicker and thicker.   Carbon is building up in your pipes which makes it difficult for your hot oil heater to transfer its energy into the thermal fluid (hot oil).

Meeker has developed a cleaning system for your existing thermal fluid.   It is called our Side Stream filter and it allows sludge and other debris to get captured and removed from the oil system.   The side stream filter allows the cleaning process to happen while your hot oil heater is working.  As hot oil is pumped to your circuits in the system, it comes back and must pass through the filter first.  All sludge and carbon are captured in a stainless steel filter basket.   Periodically, the basket is removed and its contents are removed.   Over time, aramid fiber bags are used to capture even finer materials.

Our system comes complete with the filter cannister, valves to clean and bypass the filter, a basket to drop bags or other tools in to.   We also provide an easy step to allow operators to easily pull the filter from the unit.
