TWO 30,000 GALLON ASPHALT STORAGE TANKS SHIPPED TO WAYNESVILLE, NC

Meeker Equipment supplied two (2) 30,000 gallon asphalt storage tanks, unloading pump, jacketed asphalt piping and thermal fluid piping to Harrison Construction (a CRH Company) in Waynesville, North Carolina.

The installation features a unitized top deck for both tanks that saves space, handrails, concrete and the need for any walkways between tank tops. Installing the Meeker tanks close together with a common top deck also improves thermal efficiency by reducing the effect of wind pulling heat away from the tanks. Additionally, the tank system was installed with Meeker Equipment's balanced flow thermal fluid technology that promotes positive flow of thermal fluid throughout the system no matter where each piece of equipment requiring heat is located in the circuit. And for safety, the ladder was equipped with fall protection equipment to meet current OSHA safety standards.
